One that comes to my mind right now is the villain that appears in Linda Howard's DREAM MAN. I don't know if it was because I was reading it late at night or if it was the fact I was home alone, but there is one scene that scared the daylights out of me. J.D. Robb also writes some pretty creepy villains. Can't wait to read SWEET JUSTICE!

Hi Carolyn! Great post. The Lucky series sound great, and can't wait to read them. I love books that are part of series, because it gives you a chance to revisit past characters.
