ONE WOMAN is a very intense read. I couldn't put it down because at every turn there were lies, dangers, and so many secrets that this couple should not be able to navigate. It is only the intensity of their newly found feelings for each other, that gives them the only hope for survival and a happy future. They heat up the pages as only a couple written by author Lisa Renee Jones can, but it is also very emotional as they find their way toward each other.
ONE WOMAN does indeed start where One Man, the first book in the Naked trilogy, ended, with Emma one step away from death by the hands of Jax's brother. Once that calms down with the brother being thrown out, another danger is quickly facing Emma. This does lead to Jax calling in someone that fans of Lisa Renee Jones know and love: Savage, to beef up security.
A number of secrets are finally revealed such as what happened to Emma at the hands of her disgusting ex. I loved that she uses information, with a little help from Savage and Jax and the over-bloated ego of the ex, to ruin said ex. But as you may have guessed this is only part two of three and yes, there is a cliffhanger and more surprises are ahead.
ONE WOMAN is a well written, steamy, romantic read that is filled with danger, lies and intrigue that will have readers wanting more.
Emma and Jax came together in the midst of secrets and lies, but in a castle in Maine, they seek passion and sanctuary. What they find is a mystery that could stretch beyond all their expectations. And what Emma finds is danger.
One Woman begins where One Man ended, with Emma one step from death and Jax the only man who can save her.
