Romance Suspense | Inspirational Romance

OATH OF HONOR by Lynette Eason is the first book in the Blue Justice series and is an inspirational romantic suspense novel. Eason is known for her thrilling and suspenseful writing style. She really has proven herself with OATH OF HONOR. A novel that is full of action-packed scenes, thrilling drama, and a police department that copy cashing checks for the wrong kind of payroll.

Officer Isabelle St. John's partner is murdered, and she is determined to find the person or persons responsible. What she is not prepared for is the secrets and conspiracies she finds while investigating the crime. There is even a chance that her family may even be involved. OATH OF HONOR is a fast-paced nail-biting kind of read that will have you in suspense and complete surprise with each turn of the page.

The characters Eason has created are well-planned out with pasts and backstories that are revealed as the story progresses. This character development helps to explain and create the mystery that this novel is loaded with. The setting helps to create a mysterious backdrop that is the ideal place for hiding secrets or burring the things that seem to get in your way. You will be nervously sitting on the edge of your seat as each secret comes to light and more questions stand in the way of the truth.

Can Officer St. John solve the murder of her partner or will the secrets she uncovers make her the next target? I really enjoyed reading OATH OF HONOR. I cannot wait to see what happens with this group of characters as the Blue Justice series continues and look forward to reading the next book. I recommend OATH OF HONOR to anyone who loves a good suspenseful read with a touch of romance.

When police officer Isabelle St. John's partner is murdered, she must work with Detective Ryan Marshall to solve a case that may force her to choose between family and justice.

Police officer Isabelle St. John loves her crazy, loud, law-enforcement family. With three brothers and two sisters, she's never without someone to hang out with--or fight with. And she knows they'll be there for her when things get tough. Like when her partner is murdered and she barely escapes with her own life.

Determined to discover exactly what happened, Izzy's investigation sends her headfirst into a criminal organization, possibly with cops on the payroll--including someone from her own family. With her dead partner's handsome homicide detective brother Ryan shadowing her every move, Izzy's head is spinning. How can she secure justice for her partner when doing so could mean sending someone she loves to prison? And how will she guard her heart when the man she's had a secret crush on for years won't leave her side?

With her signature fast-paced, edge-of-your-seat action, Lynette Eason invites readers into a captivating new series where justice is a family affair.
