Eve Dallas barely takes a breath from a vacation with her husband before catapulting into a string of weird murders featuring unusual murder weapons. At first, the victims seem to have no connection at all, but Eve is determined to chisel through the evidence to discover why these victims are being targeted, and more importantly, why the killer keeps leaving "clues" toward or away from his or her identity. With a "cop barbeque" looming over her, Eve wants to tie up the many strings of these intricately planned murders.

INDULGENCE IN DEATH is another excellent installment in this wonderful series. Eve Dallas and her husband, Roarke, continue to confront their pasts while creating their futures. This work confronts class issues and perceptions of the unlikely duo head-on with fabulous results. I love these books!
