White House Executive Chef Olivia Paras wanted some time
off when her mom and nana come to visit, but this isn't
exactly what she had in mind. A guest has died at dinner
and until the cause of death is determined, everyone and
everything is under suspicion, including Ollie and her
staff. Not only that, her boyfriend Tom has been ordered to
keep an eye on Ollie and make sure she keeps her
considerable skill as an amateur sleuth out of the
investigation. Ollie is somewhat content to let the
professionals do their job and spend time with her family,
until a newspaper columnist puts her in his sights. When
Ollie becomes a target, she decides to fight back the only

name.
Set against the fascinating backdrop of Washington, DC,
Julie Hyzy's EGGSECUTIVE ORDERS is an entertaining,
well-written mystery. Ms. Hyzy takes Ollie outside of her
natural environment, the kitchen, thus giving readers a
glimpse of a different side of this fascinating character.
Ollie's nana and mom prove to be great supporting sidekicks
in this latest adventure as Ollie sorts through the clues
to a satisfying conclusion to the latest White House Chef
mystery.
