Molly Gifford has a mission -- to find her real father and
hopefully discover the family she has never had. Oh her
mother Francie has supported Molly through her multiple
marriages to increasingly wealthy husbands and sent her to
excellent boarding schools. Problem is that Francie is
exceedingly self-absorbed which makes her rather odd mother
material. Molly has never had that feeling of belonging and
so she sets out to find it. In order to continue her quest
she has to leave Daniel Hunter behind, hurt and confused by
what he perceives is a betrayal to the future he envisioned
for the two of them. Daniel is also seeking to belong and in
Molly he thought he found the love of his life. Fast forward
one year and to the father and family Molly has found after
a few detours. She desperately wants to fit it with them and
willingly changes to suit. But tragedy has hit and her
father is arrested for a murder Molly is certain he didn't
commit but the local law officials feel they've got their
man and are doing nothing to further the investigation.
Molly has no choice but to eat proverbial crow and seek out
Hunter's legal help. With his record of successes she feels
certain he is the best choice of counsel for her father. But
the big question is will he accept the case or will his
feelings towards her betrayal outweigh his willingness to
champion this cause. Hunter decides working this case will
help him finally get over Molly but the sparks are alive and
well and only time will tell whether love or pride wins in

equally entertaining supporting cast. This story is about
