Re: Chase Me

Roarke is one of my favorites too. At the top of my list is also Curran from the Kate Daniel's series. Cole from Nalini Singh's Psy/Changeling series appealed too because he didn't know how to woo a woman, but gave it his all.

I used to love snow and cold weather sports, but as I grow
older I tolerate the cold less well. But I still choose to
remain in Michigan near all of my family.
I don't really like individual heroes...I love them all.

Mary Hay 8:43am June 7, 2012)

Oh! Someone after my own heart! I also love Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series and her Psy/Changeling series - I shall definitely have to check out your other listings, too - :-)

Janet Dailey wrote a book called Night Way featuring a Navaho Indian who fell for a rancher's daughter. Luckily she fell for him too. It was a long time ago but I think his name was Hawk. Got me interested in reading about the Navaho which led of course to Tony Hillerman. Is Janet writing now?

You nailed it for me with Roarke!! And after your description of Natural Born Charmer I may have to run out and get that too. Your book sounds awesome and if I'm not lucky enough to win it, it will go on my TBR list too. Best of luck to you!

I learned to write my name so that I could have my own library card before I even started to school. Been reading ever sense. That is too many years to print.
Blessings,
Marjorie

(
Denise Smith 9:38am June 7, 2012)

Right now I'm reading The Rift Walker and I'm really enjoying the unusual
romantic lead of Prince Gareth (Greyfriar).
Thanks for the chance to win!
(
Debbie Burdeen 9:54am June 7, 2012)

Great contest. I'd love to win this book.
(
Wilma Frana 10:15am June 7, 2012)

Hi everyone! I'm at the day job today, so please accept my apologies if I can't reply to each of your comments individually.

And? back to back meetings suck. ;-)
(
Tamara Hogan 10:43am June 7, 2012)

I recently found out that I have a HUGE attraction to werewolf heroes! I thought I was a vamp girl, and I still am, but the hot-blooded weres are started to take me over! LOL
(
Angie Lilly 11:03am June 7, 2012)

Oh Roarke, OF COURSE! Plus, I have a soft spot for "Bluebell" in Nalini Singh's Guild Hunters series.
(
Rebecca Whitehead-Schwarz 12:31pm June 7, 2012)

YES! Ah, Bluebell... who's also a total badass. ;-)
(
Tamara Hogan 1:04pm June 7, 2012)

Ok, this is one tough question but here goes...
Acheron by Sherrily Kenyon, Jericho Barrons and Dageus McKeltar from Karen Marie Moning, and Jules Cassidy and Sam Starrett from Suzanne Brockmann. Sorry, I couldn't pick just one.
(
Jennifer Beyer 1:35pm June 7, 2012)

Jennifer, I was asked a question at another blog concerning which romance character I'd most want to hang out with, and Jules Cassidy was my first choice. Acheron...yeah, Acheron! How lucky for us that we don't have to pick just one!
(
Tamara Hogan 1:39pm June 7, 2012)

I am not really familiar with any of the heroes you listed above but one of my favorites is Beau Russell from Beauty Dates the Beast.
(
Chelsea Knestrick 1:47pm June 7, 2012)

I have a tendency to be fickle when it comes to my heroes. I love the one I'm with!
Good luck and happy writing!
(
Tracie Travis 2:20pm June 7, 2012)

That's a good list - I've made a few notes - can't believe I
haven't read these books (tho I've read several of the
authors).
(
Diane Sallans 3:27pm June 7, 2012)

I don't know all the heroes listed but I do agree with Roarke.
(
Maureen Emmons 3:30pm June 7, 2012)

Oh I am a major Roarke fan.... some of the others were unknown to me... looks like I need to add those books to my list!
(
Colleen Conklin 3:39pm June 7, 2012)

I'll take Roarke, thank you.
(
Rita Wray 3:44pm June 7, 2012)

My favorite romances are along the lines of GONE WITH THE WIND,EVERGREEN, VIOLETS OF MARCH and WITH THIS RING. Don't know any of the above authors
(
Kathleen Bianchi 3:47pm June 7, 2012)

He's MINE, Rita! ;-)
(
Tamara Hogan 3:48pm June 7, 2012)

I love snow and the cold hate the heat and humidity. I think the falling snow is such a beautiful scene.
(
Shirley Younger 4:02pm June 7, 2012)

Thanks for the great book giveaway.
Still like the rascal Rhett Butler,
in GWTW.
(
Dayle Butler 5:55pm June 7, 2012)

Naked In Death by J.D. Robb when Roarke reaches into his jacket to rub the button that's fallen off Eve's jacket. I love Susan Elizabeth Phillips books and haven't read Natural Born Charmer so will have to check Dean out! Thanks for the tip and the contest. Want to read Chase Me too!
(
Linda Luinstra 6:13pm June 7, 2012)

I have to agree with your list...they are all fantastic. I also love Acheron by S. Kenyon, and who could forget John Wayne .... thanks for chance to when. I love your books.
(
Kimberley Coover 6:48pm June 7, 2012)

Oh... great list! Love Roarke, of course.... Dean and Miles are also great. Miles make me laugh... and I especially love he has grown from a teenager to a mature adult with kids. :)

Your book sounds terrific too!
(
May Pau 7:00pm June 7, 2012)

(
Janie McGaugh 9:34pm June 7, 2012)

I have been away from reading for quite a while because my Mother had Alzheimer's disease, and I was busy helping my Dad take care of her until her passing. In the interim, my Husband lost his job, and we lost our house. We were in the process of moving from a place I called home for 13 years. With all of that pressure, I had no time for reading. Moving around in a pop-up camper didn't give me any time, either. Anyway, I have just recently started to read again, and there are so many new authors that I have to familiarize myself with. My reading has been all over the map, genre wise, depending on my mood. To answer your question, with my limited reading, there are only a couple of people that come to mind. One is the ever-popular Rhett Butler. The other one would be Ranger, from the Janet Evanovich series. I also loved Percy from the book Roses by Leila Meacham. That had to be the best love story I've read in quite a while. Now I'm anxious to read your book, since you're so well-read on characters. I hope to be someday soon.
(
Peggy Roberson 10:40pm June 7, 2012)

I can never seem to get enough of Jamie Fraiser from Outlander. I could read the first book over and over.
(
Kristin Bingham 11:30pm June 7, 2012)

Ok, how could I have forgotten either Ranger or Jamie Fraser? Obviously I needed to make a longer list. ;-) Thanks for all your fabulous reading suggestions, and best of luck to everyone in the book drawing!
(
Tamara Hogan 9:58am June 8, 2012)

I love Roarke but there are scores of great heroes out there. I read constantly
and each book finds a new hero. I can't even begin to list them all. In J. D. Robbs latest book there is a scene with Roarke and Eve in the bedroom--if you aren't a
Roarke fan after reading that scene I will cry for you.
(
Sandra Spilecki 5:14pm June 8, 2012)

I like mystery heros who are underdogs and get the girl like Les Roberts books with Milo Jakovitch.
(
Alyson Widen 4:03pm June 10, 2012)

Sounds like your taste in books follows along the line of mine since we were young. Looking forward to reading one of your books.
