Carol Snow grew up in New Jersey. Much of her childhood was spent immersed in books; the rest was focused on avoiding dodgeball. She holds an A.B. in psychology from Brown University and an M.A.T. in English from Boston College. Carol didn't get serious about fiction until after college, when she knocked out page after page of literary short stories before accepting that she couldn't go more than a few hundred words without cracking a joke. In 2006, Berkley/Penguin published her first novel, Been There, Done That, which Publisher's Weekly called βhumorous, wise . . . romance with a bit of social commentary.β Since then, she has written three more books for adults, Getting Warmer (2007), Here Today, Gone to Maui (2009), and the newly-released Just Like Me, Only Better (2010), which Booklist calls βan immensely fun read that ... makes Snow an author to watch.β She has also written two young adult novels for HarperCollins, Switch (2008) and Snap (2009).
Carol lives in Southern California with her husband and their two children.
