Terry Odell was born in Los Angeles and
after living in Florida for several
decades, now makes her home in the
mountains of
Colorado. An avid reader (her parents
tell everyone they had to move from
their first home because she finished
the local library), she always wanted
to "fix" stories so the characters did
what she wanted, in books, television,
and the movies. Once she began writing,
she found this wasn't always possible,
as evidenced when the mystery she
intended to write rapidly became a
romance.
Karen - thanks. Glad you like the Blackthorne Boys. Pat - I'll let my cover artist know. He's great! Jean, Deb, Susan, MIchelle, Colleen, Melanie -- thanks for commenting, and good luck to all!
Hi, Susan -- I've moved from the center of Florida to the mountains of Colorado, and there's something peaceful about writing with nature as your surroundings, whether it's water or swaying aspens. But the longhand -- that makes me run away. I'd need a pen with cut and paste before I could go back to that "technology"
I've led such a boring life, I have to research almost everything. The tough part is knowing what you don't know so you can look it up. Making assumptions about how things works generally means you're getting it wrong.
Congrats on the re-release. I know what it's like--my most recent release is in its third life, and its third cover. Thanks for being willing to share your story--and your books.
