Re: The Wicked Wedding Of Miss Ellie Vyne (10:04pm January 18, 2013):

"Wickedly funny, fast and sassy" -love these kind of books, so this sounds as though I would become instantly immersed in the story and hate being interrupted.!!

Re: A Genie in the House of Saud: Zubis Rises (12:08pm November 30, 2009):

I would give it to my DIL who is a very special person to me and our family.

Re: Men Of The Otherworld (5:22pm November 16, 2009):

I vote for Charles.

Re: Over My Dead Body (4:38pm November 16, 2009):

We now live in a high-rise for seniors and disabled people; what do I miss the most??

The HUGE kitchen that we had in our house -- everyone would come to our house for all the holidays and birthdays, etc.

When our sons were toddlers I baked 3 times a week -- nothing from a mix, either. Home made cakes, pies, cookies, etc.

Now that I am semi-retired with NO toddlers hanging on my legs -- do I bake even once a week -- very rarely.!!!

I used to make home made candy and decorated cakes. I still have my Wilton tips and candy molds but just don't seem to find the time or the energy any more.

My grandmother cooked and baked on a coal stove and she was the best baker you would ever want to meet.

I'm just an old-fashioned lady - I knit, crochet, sew, embroider and all types of needlework. I also used to make home made jellies and jams and made my own apple pie filling to preserve along with vegetables, etc.

Hope everyone has a GREAT evening.

Re: Mistress (5:38pm May 17, 2009):

I ALWAYS use a book mark and since I make them I always have an amble supply.

Taught my children to respect books or any other item that was the property of someone else.
