Re: Deadly Secrets, Loving Lies (11:28am May 18, 2012):

Congratulations on the release!
I so want to see this film! But I loved Iron man, so I'm going with Tony Stark - I reckon he'd make a great romance hero.

Re: The Last Rising (11:23am September 17, 2011):

Lol - great post! My "hmmm...." moment - when he comes up behind her and kisses the back of her neck - but that one does work in real life (I'd swear my other half reads my books when I'm not around - I make sure I fold the corner of the page on the bits he might find useful).

Re: Blood of the Demon (10:12am August 28, 2011):

I love alphas as well, and your demons sound pretty alpha to me!

Re: Hold Me (5:02am July 24, 2011):

I've never had a broken heart (I've been married for twenty years) but I believe it could happen, and I think maybe you need to believe that to really enjoy reading romance. Good luck with the release!

Re: Night Walker (3:43am July 18, 2011):

Hi Lisa - yes I want to live forever - of course I might change my mind about that a few thousand years in the future - but I'll worry about that then! As to what I would do - I think a lot of the choices we make, where we live, what we do... are because we don't have time to do everything - and there are so many places I want to go and things I want to try...

Re: The What If Guy (9:54am July 16, 2011):

"I am a strange, mildly perverted woman with no life" Lol - this sounds vaguely familiar - great description of a writer! The What if Guy - sounds fantastic - can't wait to read it.

Re: Break Out (2:51am July 5, 2011):

Thanks for all the comments - it's been great here at Fresh Fiction and brilliant to hear that so many of you like the idea of crossing genres. I'll have to think of a few more...

Re: Break Out (1:22pm July 4, 2011):

Well, I think the consensus is definitely in favor of crossing genres - I'm so glad because I can't wait to cross some more!

Re: Break Out (10:44am July 4, 2011):

Thanks Holly!

I hope you enjoy reading it, Peggy, and I would love to know what your husband thinks. Happy 4th!

Re: Break Out (10:05am July 4, 2011):

Hi Janet - I think it's important not to mislead readers - it can be annoying if you buy a book and it's completely different than you expected. But readers are on the whole an intelligent bunch and there's such a huge resource of information available now on the internet that it's easy to find out exactly what you're getting before you buy.
I also think people are becoming more open to trying different genres - which is great.

Re: Break Out (9:26am July 4, 2011):

Wow - it's great to see so many people think crossing genres is good! And I agree Connie - it would be great if a few readers who had never tried these genres would give them ago. I'm betting there are a lot of paranormal fans out there who've never tried space operas. And they don't know what they are missing!

Re: Break Out (7:13am July 4, 2011):

Thanks Marjorie!

Re: Break Out (4:28am July 4, 2011):

Kathleen - there's a whole load of romance and mystery in Break Out - so give Rico a try - he's lovely, honest, despite being a vampire!

Re: Break Out (4:27am July 4, 2011):

Thanks, Rachel!
Ginger, I agree, and it was definitely a case of not worrying about genre when I wrote Break Out.
Michele - I love Firefly as well - I still can't believe they didn't make more!

Re: Break Out (2:48am July 4, 2011):

Darci - I'm glad you think it's good - and it's definitely interesting to write!
Thanks Lisa!
Jody - I agree everyone needs a bit of adventure along with their romance!
Sigrun - it's not gory at all - honest!
