I had a conversation with a student today that took an unexpected turn, and because of the honesty of the book and your posts, I heard what she was saying in a different way than I would have before..... we talked as far as she could go, then recommended she head to the bookstore for your book, the NDVH card in hand! Thanks not only for telling your story but for helping us learn to listen as well.

How scary -- and painful-- that must have been! But isn't it amazing somehow that when you least want it (but most need it), life finds a way to slow you down a bit..... Hopefully by now you are feeling much, much better!!
