Robin, yep, I do that, too--the tearing up when you try to express how proud you are of someone.

Sandi, I'm sorry to hear about your problems with your mother. It's always especially tough to have raggedy relationships with family.

Kara, I have a movie for ya that will make you cry. I went to see My Sister's Keeper yesterday and it's definitely a 7 hanky flick. 'Course I'm a lightweight when it comes to keeping my tears under wraps for that sorta thing, so I may not exactly be the template to go by. But I caught the soulmate wiping away tears, too. :)
