My mother is a Miriam, working with children since her conversion when I was a child. She's 86 now and runs circles around me, although not as fast as she once did. Her mind isn't as crisp as Miriam, but she tries her best to serve and still sends out greeting cards -- paper, not electronic - - for everyone in her church. Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, even the first visit to her church is noted by a handwritten card.
