I completely agree with you regarding the joy of reading historical romances. My
interest came from trips back to England to visit family as a kid, when we'd visit
ruins, castles and palaces. You can't help but wonder, as you walk through the
halls or along the watchtowers, who else walked there hundreds of years ago.
Maybe more high school field trips are in order!
