Yet, as the ceremony draws closer, Willa has an anxiety attack and stumbles into the woods, where she catches sight of a strange man with a mask. When the man reappears and the blood starts flowing, Willa realizes she is in the middle of a horror movie. As more carnage continues, Willa and her new friend Danny must make it out alive. Yet each time Willa dies, a new day begins with a new threat. Can Willa escape the time loop, face her ex-fiancé, reconnect with her friends, and find a new perspective on life?

KISS SLAY REPLAY is a horror-filled rom-com fueled by a quirky main character and her cache of college friends. Willa is likeable and struggling since her breakup with Ravi. As she wrestles with her emotions, she replays the same day with different monsters that test her final girl skills. The monsters are ruthless and include a maniacal killer with a penchant for eyeballs, zombies, crazed ravens, aliens, sprites, Godzilla, and finally the Grim Reaper. There are numerous action and gruesome scenes, written with creativity and a unique voice. The first scene is the best and sets the stage for each subsequent replay. You can't help but like Willa as she evolves incrementally, stumbles frequently, yet always strives valiantly to escape and save her loved ones. This may not be for everyone, but it will appeal to horror fans who like a little twist to their average angsty getting-over-a-breakup story.
