ILLICIT TEMPTATIONS is a duo of short but amazing reads that can be read separately yet meld into one long book. Make Me Yours is a surprise pregnancy read with Becka Baudin and Aaron Livingston, who hook up following a wedding they both attended. They go their separate ways only to find a positive pregnancy test bringing them back together. Total opposites who should not even be together, but their chemistry just keeps pulling them closer. This is a story that allows readers to follow along as a couple of opposites find their way together and learn that marriage and love are real. A good warm read with just the right spice to keep you reading and perhaps doing a bit of blushing. Make Me Need finds Trish Livingston in need of a job and gets one with the grumpiest boss in the world. Cameron O’Clery is also her brother’s best friend and business partner. As they begin to work together, they realize that the fire they don’t expect is going to go out of control. This one follows just where the first book ends. As Aaron goes on leave, his sister starts working with his partner in their cybersecurity company. I am not a big fan of the ‘she’s the sister of my partner, thus I must keep my hands off’ trope, but this is a well-written, spicy one. She put him in his place a number of times, which made me cheer her on, but she was happy when she realized he wasn’t so bad after all. He falls first and wins points as he helps her and cheers her on as she follows her dreams. Another well-written read that will have you laughing, smiling and doing a bit of blushing. ILLICIT TEMPTATIONS was previously published as Make Me Yours and Make Me Need in 2024.
