Romance Contemporary

SPARROW AND VINE is a lovely but a bit overgrown family winery. Sadie Sparrow is willing to do whatever she must to save her family home and winery. To open the family trust, she has to marry – if not everything is lost. But Monroe Beaumont is the only man to make an offer.

A family enemy Sadie doesn’t trust him for one minute but what can she do? He is the best of the Beaumont brothers but is that saying much? Ready to fight to keep SPARROW AND VINE going, but will she be fighting her own husband?

SPARROW AND VINE is a bit of a modern-day Romeo and Juliet without the sad ending. There has been a feud for years between the Sparrow and Beaumont families – not going into detail as might be considered a spoiler – but think a marriage that didn’t happen.

Sadie and Monroe learn that they have a lot in common and thus open the trust, freeing up the ability to make the winery pay for itself. They decided that a marriage – of convenience only – of course, would suit them both perfectly. Not surprising that neither family is happy with the plan. Her sisters fear they will lose everything to the dreaded Beaumonts and surprisingly his mother is angry – she chose the wrong man to wed it seems. Read SPARROW AND VINE to learn more about that situation.

Sadie and Monroe do communicate well in many areas – though there were some things that were said in this book that could be taken as tacky (think along the lines of workers without visas) and other things that could be considered offensive. I chalked that up to the elitist character who said them but some might find this too disgusting for them.

That aside there was a lot that Monroe did that was heartwarming. He helped Sadie by believing in herself and giving her confidence as she never did fit in with her artistic sisters. Both defended and protected each other, especially from their families. It was very interesting how this author Sophie Lark was able to bring so many varied personalities to two families and still make them feel like family. Some you will like and some you will not but then that is family for you.

SPARROW AND VINE is a steamy romance, a marriage of convenience, rivals to lover’s contemporary that should satisfy any reader.

SUMMARY

**This DELUXE LIMITED EDITION features stunning stained edges and cover foiling, only available while supplies last.**

From USA Today bestselling author Sophie Lark comes a new marriage of convenience romance between two rival families in order to secure an inheritance.

The wedding that never was...

Sadie Sparrow loves the beautiful overgrown winery of Sparrow and Vine. It\'s her family home, and she\'s willing to do anything to inherit it: even marry her worst enemy. It\'s the only possible solution. Or at least, Monroe Beaumont makes it seem that way when he corners Sadie with his offer. Intimidation is what Monroe does best for the pack of pirates he calls brothers. And after all...somebody has to get married to unlock the family trust.

Sadie\'s sisters are furious. They\'re sure that everything they love is about to be stolen from them by Beaumonts. But Sadie\'s the one who actually has to live with one of them. The biggest one...who smells like cinnamon and insists on sharing a bed... Sadie\'s always known she\'d have to fight for Sparrow and Vine. She just didn\'t know she\'d be fighting her own husband...
