Romance Paranormal

Vampires, demons, witches and shifters exist in the world hidden by humans, but so much of those beings' times were spent in war. Finally, the Kurjan and others have managed to obtain a weak peace. Luckily a PRINCE OF DARKNESS is willing to bring his people out of the darkness into – well since they can’t all stand in the light – closer to it. Vero Phoenix, a Kurjan who has no legacy to speak of until he named his newfound brother as king wants peace. But sometimes what you want and what you get are not always the same nor are they what you expect.

Lyrica Graves is a defiant ex-captive, who remains with the Kurjan only to give other women their independence and a chance at modern life. She finds not all Kurjan women or enhanced wives want those things, they are happy. She herself, has come to enjoy the battles with Vero. Both are doing their level best not to acknowledge the heat that rises every time they are clashing. Fate is too busy laughing at this couple and enjoying the fight they put up, but Fate always wins.

PRINCE OF DARKNESS takes fans back to author Rebecca Zanetti’s Dark Protector’s world with another sizzling, amazing read.

The dark world is filled with intriguing characters and unexpected twists and turns. PRINCE OF DARKNESS is loaded with things that happen that will leave readers wondering how this author could possibly have thought of that little gem.

Vero has played a part in a number of the books in the series, but in Warrior’s Hope, he helped the brother he didn’t know he had to become king. A fate Paxton was then and is still not thrilled about. Lyrica has been a force also in the past but now we get to know her and learn the reason she has stayed in the world of the Kurjan.

On top of trying to keep his brother from being assassinated by their own people, Vero has a couple of dead bodies frozen in the camp, and has a very important meeting with the Cyst (the religious portion of the Kurjan people); he accidentally mates with Lyrica. Oh, and there is more to be learned about his genetic makeup.

PRINCE OF DARKNESS is one of those books that people say they can’t put down but in this case, it is the truth. The action is non-stop, with dynamic conversations, danger and intrigue and a sizzling romance. All that can be expected from this author.

SUMMARY

Unknown to humans, beyond daylight lies a world of intoxicating darkness where deadly creatures prowl with insatiable desires and unbelievable power: vampires, demons, witches, shifters. When vulnerable humans find themselves thrust into that realm, they’ll never be the same. . .

In the aftermath of war, a fragile peace hovers between the Kurjan nation and the Dark Protector coalition. Yet amid labyrinthine politics and intrigue, Vero Phoenix, a Kurjan, stands apart. He has lived devoid of legacy or lineage—until the day he backed his newfound brother as king, putting himself into the treacherous position of enforcer and shield. Yet there is another thorn in his side, no less vexing, undeniably captivating—and all-too-human . . .

Lyrica Graves was once ensnared by Kurjan captors and now embodies defiance and freedom as she guides other women to independence and modernity. She is particularly amused—and breathtakingly challenged—by her battles with Vero. But their clashing also belies a sizzling connection, a dark attraction between supernatural and fully human that threatens their chosen destinies and makes them a target for far too many bloodthirsty enemies . . .
