The romance between Carlyle and Song is a mixture of sweet and steamy, especially after their mutual truths come to light. Nothing like being lied to from all sides to bring a couple together.
As this is the sixth book in the series there are many characters that have built up Skye Druids series and a number of them are found in BLOOD SKYE. There are a number of surprises along the way – about Devon/Song’s family, Carlyle’s family and more information about what is going on with the Ancients and the enemies of the Skye Druids.
BLOOD SKYE is a solid mixture of paranormal, magic, romance, danger and drama. It is one of those books that holds you even when you finish it. It stays in your mind, replaying all the scenes over again as you wait impatiently for another offering from this world.
