EDDIE WINSTON IS LOOKING FOR LOVE is the first book I've ever read by Marianne Cronin. I loved everything about this beautiful story and I'm excited to read more by Ms. Cronin. Marianne Cronin really has a way of grabbing her readers and she never lets us go. Eddie Winston is ninety years old and works at a second-hand thrift shop. Eddie enjoys his life and sees nothing wrong with it. That is until he meets Bella. She is 24 years old and just lost her soulmate. Against all odds, these two become friends If you are looking for a beautiful story to pull you out of your book slump, you can’t go wrong with EDDIE WINSTON IS LOOKING FOR LOVE.
Neither one of them expected their friendship to grow so quickly. But you know what they say about life's plans, they hardly ever turn out the way you thought they would but they are sometimes exactly what you need. When Bella convinces Eddie to look for love once again, Eddie begins to wonder if their friendship can stand a chance. Their friendship changes both of their lives so much and it's strictly platonic but very important to both of them. EDDIE WINSTON IS LOOKING FOR LOVE really takes a turn that will have you unable to put this beautiful story down. I wish everyone had an Eddie in their lives. He is a wonderful human being and you can't help but cheer for him.
EDDIE WINSTON IS LOOKING FOR LOVE is filled with twists and turns and had me staying up way too late one night to finish! I had to know where Marianne Cronin was taking us and what would happen to Bella and Eddie. Eddie might be ninety years old, but he has never been kissed by a woman. Will Eddie survive online dating? There is so much heart in Marianne's writing that I was left with a huge smile on my face and my heart very happy. All of the characters are very interesting and believable, so much so that I felt as if I'd known them for a long time. I'm so excited to read more of Marianne's previous books! You are going to want to read EDDIE WINSTON IS LOOKING FOR LOVE!
