If you have been reading my reviews for a while, you know how much I enjoy Christmas stories. THE CHRISTMAS INN is a perfect way to spend the afternoon! Every time I opened my Kindle, an ad for one of Pamela Kelly’s books would be there. I was instantly drawn to her beautiful covers and when I saw the cover for THE CHRISTMAS INN I knew I had to read it. I’ve now ordered her whole Nantucket series. That’s how much I loved THE CHRISTMAS INN and this is not my first time reading Ms. Kelley. I can’t wait to read more of her stories! There is so much heart in Pamela’s writing that I was left with a huge smile on my face and my heart very happy. I could see THE CHRISTMAS INN becoming a Hallmark movie and I would love to see it.
THE CHRISTMAS INN is a slow-burn contemporary story that I was pulled into from the very first page. To be honest, I fell in love with the cover the minute I saw it. I knew I would read it anyway because I had been seeing Ms. Kelly’s books over and over, but the cover pulled me in. I would love to stay at this beautiful inn! Riley just lost her job, unexpectedly I might add. She is pretty much in shock and calls her sister, Amy. She learns her mom just broke her leg and could use Riley's help at her inn. Off Riley goes to Chatham which is in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I loved everything about this beautiful story and I’m excited to recommend it to my reading friends. Pamela Kelley has a way of grabbing her readers and she never lets us go. I am truly hoping that Pamela Kelley will turn this into a series because I wasn’t ready to say goodbye.
THE CHRISTMAS INN takes a turn that will make you unable to put this beautiful story down. While Riley is helping at the inn, she meets many wonderful guests. I loved Franny, a woman who recently lost her sister. She promised her sister she would stay in Chatham for a month which is why she is staying at the inn. She can't stay at her sister's home, too many memories. Riley also learns that her old boyfriend, Aiden, is staying at the inn with his young son, Luke. Neither Riley nor Aiden are looking for a relationship, but they can’t seem to ignore their growing feelings. It was cute watching these two dance around their feelings for each other. If you are a fan of Debbie Macomber, you are going to love this author’s books! All of the characters are very interesting and believable, so much so that I felt as if I’d known them for a long time.

Explore this delightfully cozy and joyful novel of second chances at the most wonderful time of the year, from USA Today bestselling author Pamela Kelley.
A feel-good novel as delightful and comforting as a cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter’s night, The Christmas Inn is bestselling author Pamela Kelley’s most heartwarming and magical book yet.
Riley Sanders didn’t plan on losing her job as a content marketing manager right before Christmas. When she calls her sister Amy to vent, she learns that their mother has broken her leg and could really use some help at the inn. Riley decides to head home to the inn, nestled along the shores of Cape Cod, in time for the Christmas rush. She is happy to help and needs something to distract her as mistletoe is hung and snowflakes begin to fall.
When she gets there, she not only finds delicious cookies and a crackling fire to lift her spirits, but also the sense of family she’s been missing all along. There’s Franny, a woman who has just lost her sister and has four unopened letters from her that she plans to use to open her up to new experiences on the Cape. And there’s Aidan, her high school sweetheart, now a widower, who is staying at the inn with his nine year-old son, Luke. What begins as a quick stay over the holidays to help her mom turns into something that means much more—a second chance at romance, a deeper sense of found family, and all the joy and wonder that comes with Christmastime on Cape Cod.
