I’m a newer reader of Lucy Score having only found her with the Knockemout series in 2023 and the Reilly Thorn series in 2024. As much as I enjoyed the hilarity and slight cheesiness of those two collections of stories, the Blue Moon series is even better (so far). FALL INTO TEMPTATION is the second book of the series set in Blue Moon Bend, NY. Back in the 60s, hippies got lost on their way back from Woodstock and decided to join the small, inclusive farming town turning it into a love-your-neighbor commune-ity. Now the grocery store is mostly organic vegan and neighbors get into each other’s business since happy couples make a better community.
Middle Pierce brother Beckett Pierce manages his law practice while also juggling duties as mayor of the sweet but quirky town. When the new tenant in his guest house turns out to be the hot owner of the new yoga studio in town, a single mom of two adorable kids, and the daughter of his mother’s boyfriend, serial dating Beckett fights the attraction against all the reasons he shouldn’t get involved with pretty redhead Gianna Decker.
Great continuation of the first book with a large cast of characters that are written with depth, sensitivity, humor and a large dose of spice. Definitely best read in order to get the most backstory and personality for each of the family and friends. Ready for the youngest brother, Jackson, to find his happily ever after in the next book.
Beckett Pierce is the most eligible bachelor in the nosiest small town in upstate New York. But after his last girlfriend handcuffed herself to his porch and set his welcome mat on fire, he's not looking for any more romance.
Especially if it lands right in his own backyard. And has miles of red hair.
Gianna Decker has her hands full—no, overflowing—with problems. With two kids, a useless ex, and a brand new yoga studio, the last thing on her mind is finding a man who'll demand more of her time.
Fantasizing about her hot, broody landlord? Mistake. Lusting after the sexy mayor of her new town? Terrible idea. Getting naked with the "favorite" son of her father's new lady friend? N-O. Getting involved with Beckett has disaster written all over it.
Those stolen kisses were accidental. A few moments of strings-free, sizzling passion couldn't possibly cause any trouble. At least, not until tempers flare when their families complicate things and the interfering citizens of Blue Moon step in with their special brand of chaos.
