COLD CASE INVESTIGATION is Anna’s story and starts with a slow build as the stage is set for Anna's and Hawk’s developing relationship. Anna is a feisty character, and she keeps Hawk on his toes. Their bantering, sexual chemistry and the evolution of their feelings are authentic and believable. The action picks up in the latter half of the novel as a killer closes in and characters from the Hudson family’s past come into play. There are some harrowing situations, and the tension builds as someone infiltrates the Hudson Ranch and moves in on their target. Filled with mystery, family, fires, a feisty heroine, and the unsolved case of the Hudson parent’s disappearance, COLD CASE INVESTIGATION will leave readers thoroughly entertained and looking forward to the next installment in the series.
