Lorenzo Mancinelli doesn’t date – doesn’t do relationships, so why does when he sees the Bratva leader’s wife’s friend Michelle make him want to think of those things? Is it possible that she will be the MAFIA REDEEMER for him?
Michelle had been afraid for her friend Laura when she met and married Maks – then she meets and fantasizes about Lorenzo Mancinelli and she understands what her friend had gone through. She manages to slip him her phone number after they encounter one another at the movies.
Thus, begins something that neither of them had expected.
MAFIA REDEEMER is the fifth book of Sabine Barclay’s Mancinelli Brotherhood series. Lorenzo (Enzo) and Michelle (Chellie or Chelle – depending on who is calling for her) fit together quite well. There are warnings set for all Ms. Barclay’s books, so pay attention, and if the Daddy/little girl thing sets you off – it does play a part in this book. However, there is little play between them as it seems these women seem to be looking to their lovers as protectors and supporters. The Mob, the Mafia, the Cartel and the Bratva were a little too involved, mudding up the storyline and taking away the romance between this amazing couple. Chelle’s family background was also a bit strange though as it turned out that it was part of the reason for the danger.
That said – there is so much to enjoy about MAFIA REDEEMER. I love the family vibe that fills the pages – how normal they all seem and fun loving and acting so opposite of what is expected. The romance between Enzo and Chelle – as they try to get to know one another and accept the life that they would have to share – the changes and sacrifices that both would have to make – makes for a very good read.
If you want action, danger, drama, intrigue, and a steamy romance, the MAFIA REDEEMER will give you all that and more.
