Lucy is spending her holiday season helping her boss, romance writer Brynn Dixon, complete her small book tour. Brynn hasnβt been feeling like herself for the past month or two, so Lucy created a small book tour hosted in small towns.
The first stop hasnβt been without surprises. Brynn's readers have all fallen for a secondary character and are asking for him to be the lead in the next book. But Brynn hasnβt been writing and her creative well is dry.
Brynnβs son Caleb has joined them for the tour. Lucy didnβt know of his existence--no one did. Lucy canβt help but feel thereβs more to the story. Until she hears more, sheβs going to do what she can to protect Brynn.
The weather hasnβt been cooperating either. Together, Lucy, Brynn, and Caleb travel to the final stop. Itβs actually the type of town Brynn creates in her romance novels. The inn is charming and cozy on the outskirts of town. Stuck there together, Lucy and Caleb decide to make the best of it. They decorate the inn to create a warm environment for the book signing. The more time they spend together, the more they both realize that first impressions arenβt everything.
