I'M WITH YOU by Cindy Stark is an emotional and intriguing story with an almost perfect blend of drama, angst, heartbreak, and ultimately, a very satisfying end.
I'M WITH YOU takes place in Aspen, Utah. Zoe Cassidy is trying to live her life and finally moves into her dream home that she just bought. To her dismay, Zoe is taking a bath one night, and in walks her archenemy, Asher. He walks right in on her when she is in the bathtub! Asher just went through a rotten and devastating divorce and he has no interest in ever trusting another woman again. He claims that he bought the house as well.
The dialogue between Asher and Zoe is sometimes funny and other times frustrating. They both have secrets and without letting them out, they will not be able to move forward. Together Asher and Zoe find, with the support of one another, they can move past the challenges of their past, and redefine the meaning of friendship. I was instantly emotionally invested in all of the characters from page one and I can not wait to read more in the wonderful and heart-tugging Aspen series.
I'M WITH YOU hooked me from the very beginning to the very last page. I liked that both of the main characters told their story from their POV, which moved the story along quickly while giving needed insights into each of their motivations. So many things take place in this book and you see these wonderful, realistic characters navigate through tough situations. The writing is wonderful, and the emotional ride Cindy Stark took us on was thrilling. I heartily recommend this book.
