Kira Babin, a former Russian spy has spent years trying to find her younger brother Mikhail and nothing is going to stop her from finding him and getting her vengeance on those who killed her parents and took him. Not even THE SEAL WHO KISSED ME has a chance to change her heart.
Petty Officer Colt Hughes of Seal Team 5 met Kira in the middle of a gunfight in an alley and hasn't forgotten anything about her. After she saved them with her sniper ability, the CIA and the SEAL team plan to help her with her manhunt. Though Kira isn't too sure the CIA will happen when they find out she doesn't plan on capturing her quarry - but that will come later when they help her find them.
Posing as a newlywed couple gives Colt time to be alone with the woman and get to know her and let her get to know him and maybe - trust him.
THE SEAL WHO KISSED ME is the 12th of Paige Tyler's SEALs of Coronado series and is still just as action-packed and intriguing as the first of the series. The camaraderie of the teammates is always a plus in these kinds of books as they have each other's backs in and out of the battlefield. They rib one another, argue and fight like real brothers but are always there for one another. As you might guess this is a personal favorite plot line for me. I love seeing the teamwork, especially with the varied personalities that Ms. Tyler has brought together. Also, the women who have chosen these men are necessarily strong - who else would put up with a guy disappearing in the middle of the night and returning a week later without an explanation - yet they are compassionate and also there for one another too.
There is a lot of action, danger, and intrigue that fills the pages of THE SEAL WHO KISSED ME, but at the heart is the romance between Kira and Colt. This is a couple who are attracted to one another, but with their way of life, they are unsure how far to trust what they feel.
If you love action, drama, danger, a sweet and very steamy romance, family of blood and choice then you will really want to get your hands on THE SEAL WHO KISSED ME.
Former Russian spy, Kira Babin, has covertly spent the last ten years looking for her younger brother Mikhail––and hunting the man who kidnapped him. When she recently got her chance to defect to the United States, she took it. Away from her Russian handlers, she can search on her own. The last thing she needs is unwanted attention. But when she finally gets a lead, she ends up in the same alleyway, the same gunfight, as the sexy SEAL who fills her dreams and makes her heart beat a little faster––the one she’s been avoiding. It’s not that she doesn’t want Colt––she does. He’s the most amazing man she’s ever met. But if he knows the real her, he’ll walk away, and that’s something even this hardened spy couldn’t survive.
A man who can change her mind.
Petty Officer Colt Hughes never expected his latest mission to land him beside the beautiful blonde he’s been trying to get close to for months. Last he knew she ghosted him. So why was the sexy ex-spy now engaging terrorists in dark alleys? Since Kira saved his and his Teammates' proverbial bacon, he intends to find out. But when the man who killed her parents and abducted her brother turns out to be a person of interest to the CIA, suddenly SEAL Team 5 is helping Kira with an international manhunt. Posing as newlyweds suits Colt just fine because that means alone time with Kira, but the more he gets to know her, the more he sees beyond her beauty to the incredible woman inside. He’s falling hard and fast––if only she’d trust him.
Kira never expected help from Colt, much less from a SEAL Team. But when she has to choose between trust or revenge, life or death, love or heartache…will she listen to her heart or her head?
