Devlin Moore is a lone wolf who answers to no one but it is not necessarily his choice. When he transformed for the first time he was a white wolf - a hunter and executioner of rogues and other problems that go bump in the night. Little does he know that after a century of being alone there will soon be one who will go about TAMING THE WHITE WOLF whether either of them like it or not.
But something isn't right in his world. There are two more who hunt rogues, something that is very unheard of, and on top of that, while in New York where his instinct leads him, he is drawn to someone who appears to be human. Zoe Galvani is an artist and should not be on his radar - except for her eyes. They seem very much like his. The biggest problem is the unexpected need to mark this woman, something a lone wolf and especially a hunter never does.
TAMING THE WHITE WOLF by N.J. Walters is the first of what has all the earmarks of being an amazing series. The premise is a bit different as the focus is on lone wolf enforcers. Devlin is the wolf shifter that goes after the rogues and baddies of their kind. But after a magical fallout of some kind, there are three of these enforcers. They know of one another but have little contact keeping to the lone wolf rules. Rules that Devlin is about to blow out of the water.
He and Zoe are so very opposite and yet have some similarities that you will find out the whys of as you read. They face danger and face their hearts together. Both are willing to do whatever they must to protect the other.
The danger comes from a rather surprising area of jealousy and greed, witches, and nasty shifters. But underneath the bad is a very good, sweet, steamy, off-the-charts romance that N.J. Walters always brings to her fans.
If you want something new in the shifter/paranormal world I absolutely recommend TAMING THE WHITE WOLF. You will not regret getting your hands on this book and impatiently waiting for the next in this sizzling new series.
