Romance Suspense | Romance Western

Wille Colt is a deputy sheriff, hoping to find information about the death of his father. He, along with his three brothers, doesn’t think their father’s death was an accident. Willie is sent to Seattle to bring back a prisoner for trial. Eleanor "Ellie" Shafer is a high-priced attorney in Seattle, Washington. She’s a partner in her parents’ former firm. She wants to be in charge like her parents always wanted. When Ellie is given the extradition case of a prisoner it’ll lead to more than she bargained for. Willie and Ellie will find out that the extradition of a prisoner leads to much more than they thought...

B.J. Daniels continues her Colt Brothers Investigation series with the story of the final Colt brother finding what all his brother already has. SET UP IN THE CITY takes two completely opposite people together in danger, suspense, and romance. A county Deputy sheriff and a high-priced attorney come together to find a missing prisoner and the person who kidnapped him. As these two strangers work their way through confusing clues, a desire that’s hard to resist begins to develop.

SET UP IN THE CITY combines a fish out of water story with an opposites attract story. Protective instincts kick in when danger comes into play. Ellie has dreamed to get her family law firm back and finds herself attracted to a man she never thought she would be. Her anger helps her to find the courage and fortitude to fight for her life and for Willie. B. J. Daniels's SET UP IN THE CITY has it all: suspense, danger, romance, and a surprise that readers won't see coming. The author leaves you with a question that hopefully will be answered in the next book. As a fan of B. J. Daniels, this reader was kept on the edge the entire way through. A must-read for fans of B.J. Daniels and readers of romantic suspense.
