Romance Paranormal

The evil that is trying to take over the world is about the face the DARK ALPHA'S FURY, and Xanath doesn't really expect to survive. Because of the torture he suffered under the hands of his own evil aunt, he has become something different. For one thing, Xanath seems to be able to track down those who are evil, but the one that keeps slipping away is Lena, the leader of the Others. But, he will find her and end the danger she presents to the world if it's the last thing he does. Too bad it is his fate, because the beautiful Reaper could be someone important to him had they met at other times...

Aisling is drawn to Xanath. For some unknown reason, she is able to find him when no one else can. But she can't save him from what the fates demand of him... or can she?

The end of a popular series is always sad, especially one as popular as the Reapers, but DARK ALPHA'S FURY is the perfect finale for a beloved series. It was perfectly genius for author Donna Grant to end it with Xanath and Aisling.

If you have followed the series, you have seen them in past books and I, for one (though I think there were many others who felt the same way), had hoped that this couple's HEA would come our way. When Aisling told her story of how she became a Reaper, I felt my heart break for her.

The final battle in DARK ALPHA'S FURY was enthralling and so well written that you felt you were there. For once, I am not sure that was a good thing! Ms. Grant has promised that this is not the last we will see of the Reapers but it was great to see them all get the happiness they deserved.

SUMMARY

From New York Times bestselling author Donna Grant comes another gripping story in her Reaper series featuring a brotherhood of elite assassins who wage war on the Fae at Death's behest—and the women who dare to love them.

There is no escaping the Reapers—or me. If you succumb to evil, you will be judged. And we will come for you…

I’ve known the torment of being trapped, of battling monsters—both outside and within. But I’ve also known the peace and completeness of holding the one I was meant for in my arms. Unfortunately, she’s not intended for me. I am destined for one thing and one thing only: eradicating the evil that plagues our world. Once I deal with my nemesis, maybe I can finally rest. Even if it means my soul being reaped by the strong, beautiful, and utterly captivating woman who makes my heart beat like no other. But I’m not sure even that is possible. Because I am no longer merely a Fae. I am something else altogether.
