Romance Paranormal | Paranormal

The Dragon Kings are in Zora, the home of their long lost dragons, but all is not well there. The humans are led by an evil that the kings need to ferret out. Little does Shaw know that the mission will bring him face to face with his DRAGON ETERNAL love.

Nia's life had always been hard, losing her mother and siblings at a young age and sold into slavery to the Divine and its priest soldiers. From slavery with the dirtiest jobs, she was soon trained as a courtesan to seduce those chosen by the Divine to get answers. This time the Divine wants a Dragon King. For the first time in her life, she regrets what she must do, because being with Shaw is the most amazing moment in her life. Secrets, fear, and ignorance are wiped away and a partnership is formed.

As a fan of author Donna Grant's Dragon Kings, In my humble opinion, since she moved the dragons' stories to appear more and more in Zora - this is the best book of the series thus far. DRAGON ETERNAL gives readers so many plots and subplots that it would be easy to get lost but have no fear Ms. Grant weaves a beautifully written, cohesive book that flows perfectly.

We are taken back to Zora and into a town called Stonemore where there is a lot happening and most of it is evil. Shaw and Nia, tell us her background story and we get to revisit the history of the dragon human war. For more of the twists and turns you can add in other Dragon Kings - including Merrill who had gone with Shaw into his undercover job in the town; Con and Rhi, their children the leaders of Zora (Eurwen and Brandr), and the struggle to protect themselves, the dragons as well as some humans. Add in a lot of action, danger, intrigue, and fighting and you have it - DRAGON ETERNAL. An action packed book that will have you spell bound.

SUMMARY

He’s a man of few words, but she fills his soul with poetry.

Quiet. Brooding. Capable. Shaw’s mission is simple: Root out Stonemore’s leader and determine what the Divine has in store for the people of Zora and the Kings. Just as he gets started, however, a breathtakingly beautiful woman finds and tempts him like no other. Nothing can stop him from engaging in the pleasures she offers. After all, pillow talk is sometimes the best way to uncover secrets.

Nia’s life has never been hers. From starving on the streets to becoming a slave to the Divine, she merely does what’s needed to survive. But when her latest assignment brings her face-to-face with a handsome man who makes her feel things she’s never experienced before, she begins to see that while she’s been living, she’s not really thriving.

As truths are revealed, and Nia’s blinders are removed, she realizes that she can no longer sit by and allow things to continue as they have been in her city. It’s time to take a stand. With Shaw by her side, they spark a war so many have tried to avoid. But the injustices being perpetrated must be stopped—no matter the cost.
