To have him rub her the right way would make things really bad - or really too good. Her secrets and fears make that idea just too UNFORGIVEN.

UNFORGIVEN is a much-awaited book for anyone who has read the Deep Op series by Rebecca Zanetti. Jethro Hansen is what many of Ms. Zanetti fans picture as the real James Bond type and this story gives us more than an eyeful of his life. He's not nearly as stiff as he had been portrayed to be but is still very cool and proper in his dealings with the world. Until Gemma and her little girl. Gemma escaped the abuse of her fiance (this abuse happened with the full knowledge of her mother and his brother, the doctor who patched her up). She has been on the run and is willing to run until Trudy is 18 and beyond the man's grasp. Jet-ro, as Trudy calls him, isn't about to let that happen. Never planning on marriage or fatherhood, he is enamored with the idea of being with Gemma and her little girl.
Trudy brings many warm fuzzy moments, as do the twins who are his over the pond buddies, Oliver and Ian. The big, super spies take the job of watching over the little girl seriously, even eating dry cereal (while trading the different marshmallow shapes with each other) and watching a little girl's favorite movies. Then, of course, the rest of the team, including Roscoe (or Rot-co as Trudy calls him) join in doing everything they can to clear the path for true love. The Deep Ops continue to fight for their existence while helping out one of their own and that is always fun to watch.
UNFORGIVEN is a super fast-paced read with so many twists and turns that you will be holding on for dear life. A number of sweet moments, with a lot of steamy ones, action, danger, and family doing what family should do fills the pages of UNFORGIVEN and make you wish it wouldn't end so quickly! Another extremely well-written, great escape read!
