I loved that Nicholas wasn't all alpha because Bailey is also alpha and not about to put up with growly nonsense. She is a fighter who always has a plan for the kids and is ready to die for them. She married to keep them, so that shows how much she will do. Nicholas is patient with each child, and with Bailey, but a force to be reckoned with when danger comes to the door.
