When we first meet her she is planning to break an engagement (I laughed out loud when she already misses the ring) and leave town for a new life. She is no wimp, she knows how to handle a gun and herself in danger, but the new world she finds herself a part of has her wondering if maybe being crazy was real. Sam is up to his neck in trouble but something about Honor draws him, he knows she is his - even if the mating mark doesn't show up, but he is torn about having her in his life as he is the "Keeper" - a name he thinks is really stupid by the way.
