This is my third Samantha Downing book, and it still managed to flabbergast me as well as constantly text updates to a friend at all hours of the day. FOR YOUR OWN GOOD by Samantha Downing reads quite a bit like her wonderful debut, MY LOVELY WIFE with complex characters, twisty plots that might involve a novel to explain and figure out, and incidents and details that will cause cries of surprise to emerge. Yes, I've seriously had so much fun with FOR YOUR OWN GOOD, a quick and enjoyable read.

Samantha Downing definitely has a talent for dark humor as well as turning serious issues into farces and she is good at creating wonderful twists that no one can see coming. (I've read MY LOVELY WIFE and HE STARTED IT, and yet, I am still unable to figure out the ending...)

If you are looking for a deliciously thrilling tale of teachers, murders, mysteries, and suspense as well as something very very twisted, then FOR YOUR OWN GOOD by Samantha Downing should perfectly satisfy those needs. Also, am looking forward to reading her fourth novel, whenever it comes out.
