Mark is offering a one-way, cross-country bus trip that would end with the bus and its occupants driving over a cliff. A varied group responds to Mark's ad, and the journey begins. Readers get to know the participants through their journal entries in which they explain what has led them to make the decisions they have made. The road trip doesn't go exactly as planned and there are interpersonal issues. Even so, under their highly unusual circumstances, for a variety of reasons they all bonded. Unexpected things happen, and readers are in for some surprises along the way.
TOGETHER WE WILL GO is a well written and profound story. It deals with sensitive issues and is thought-provoking, intended for audiences searching out soul-searching and difficult topics to think and read about. Each of the characters' voices is distinct, with dialogue that is at times witty and always meaningful. I can honestly say I have never read anything like this book before and I found it to be memorable.
