MINE TO KEEP is an amazing adventure ride with a number of unexpected twists, laughter, and just a few tears. I loved Bonnie, who really is trying to do the right things in her life but she couldn't turn her back on her father, who has liver cancer, and a brother who is always after the fast, easy buck. It is he who gets her into the worrying situation she finds herself. Roman is a bit of a mystery man and some of his past is delved into but still much of him is a mystery. But his attraction and growing love for Bonnie make for a very impressive read. He understood her better than she understood herself because he had felt the same things. Readers will get to watch as little by little he is able to draw her out, find out what she wants to do with her life, and give it to her.

Bonnie had made friends, though she really did try not to, with Cassie (Hers to Tame) who is married to Kir. He is second to the Vor (or boss) of the Bratva, Sergei, who is married to Evette (His to Defend), and their son Emerson, who is a real sweetheart. For readers who are fans of author Rhenna Morgan's Nola Knights series, you will recognize these characters and get a chance to catch up with them as they help Bonnie realize her worth. They all draw her in, giving her the acceptance that she tried to pretend she didn't need or want. The danger to her is a heart-pounding rush and when the bad guys manage to get her, Roman is ready to destroy everything he sees. What follows is the part that will most likely bring you to tears, but I cannot put in a spoiler, so get your hands on MINE TO KEEP and found out what happens to Bonnie.
