Romance Erotica Sensual | Romance Contemporary

April Smith finds herself in a bind and doing more than kicking herself for being so stupid. Her fancy Vegas wedding is not going to happen and her ex-fiance has left her with a hotel bill she can't possibly pay. On top of that he demands that she return everything that was bought for the wedding, leaving her with very little. And even less when more truths of the man's games come her way. Was it a STROKE OF LUCK that Quinn was there or just another embarrassing pain she will have to endure.

Quinn Taylor is vacationing with his best friend and partner at the hotel when he sees April sitting there so lost that he forgot the hurt and anger he felt and had to help. April had been his college love and the one that got away. He realized seeing her again he never got over her, but can he possibly trust her. With the trouble that seems to be hounding her April, Quinn and his partner Austin Wright come up with a plan to repay the debt as they help her get on her feet again.

STROKE OF LUCK is an erotic look at a number of scenarios in one exciting book. It is a second chance romance, a hero stepping in to protect the one that got away, the chance to share her with his partner and a young woman who seems to grow a much needed backbone.

I had a lot of sympathy for April and her horrible childhood, but the real problem I had with her was that at times she is insightful and independent and other times almost an airhead. Don't get me wrong I liked her and understood how she didn't have a lot of trust, but she trusted the idiot ex just a bit too much, signing papers and getting cheated out of a number of things that she really paid for.

The guys are amazing. Quinn is understandably on the distrustful side even after having gotten to know her again and even after they discussed her reason for leaving him. (Which just barely made sense to me.) Austin on the other hand was sweet and loving toward her. Which, of course, led to her to worry about the heartbreak she would endure when she had to choose one of them or lose both.

As stated STROKE OF LUCK is erotic and the steam is ramped up but there is a sweetness that just sucks you right into the story line and keeps your fingers crossed for the best for all three of them. There is a bit of a twist and sometimes what happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas but it all comes out exactly as it should.

SUMMARY

The newest erotic romance from bestselling author Opal Carew.

Getting cheated on and left with a hotel bill that costs more than she makes in a year was not a part of the plan when Riana came to Las Vegas to marry her wealthy fiancé. Her plans also didn't include getting bailed out of this horrible situation by Quinn, the ex-boyfriend she hadn't planned to see ever again. For Quinn, Riana was the one that got away and he's never gotten over her, no matter how successful he became.

Riana insists on paying Quinn back, so he makes her an offer--spend the next month with him and his business partner Austin while they're on vacation. It's clear to him that Austin is attracted to her, too, and Quinn's always liked the idea of sharing a woman with him. It's something that Riana wants to do, and after a few glasses of champagne--only enough to stop denying herself what she wants--she voices her desire to be with both men.

But as the month comes to an end, Riana has to face the reality she's falling for Quinn and Austin...and the possibility that one crazy night in Vegas could cost her one--or both--men.
