I love series that intertwine the characters and yet allow new readers to jump right in and Kat Martin does a fabulous job at this with the Maximum Securityseries!
The human trafficking story in THE DECEPTION is horrific for anyone who isn’t familiar with how easily it can operate right under one’s own eyes. Kudos to Kat Martin for highlighting such a horrible but unfortunately all too pervasive problem in our society. I love that Jake and Kate are even more determined once they find out what is going on and that they are concerned about what will happen to others trapped in that situation, rather than just focusing on revenge for Christina.
THE DECEPTION is a wild and crazy ride, full of exciting action scenes and lots of blistering hot romantic scenes! The flames between Kate and Jason are scorching hot, even as they try to fight against their own desires. The action is fast-paced as Kate and Jason face some dangerous scenarios. If you love your romantic suspense chock full of action and on the spicy side, then THE DECEPTION is just what you are looking for!
