THE WIVES is like no other suspense novel I have read. Tarryn Fisher captures fear and excitement all in one in this astonishing storyline. This book was recommended to me as I love thrillers that have a twist. However, I did not see the traumatizing end until the last chapter! You cannot put this book down without wondering how it ends leaving you with a lack of sleep, unwashed, clothes and more until you finish it. The word “wow” could not sum up how I felt when I finished it. A great novel for a book club of suspense readers!
Thursday is married to Seth. Seth is married to two other women. An arrangement that she agreed to only because she was so crazy in love with him. Then this arrangement becomes too much as Thursday discovers some things that make her wonder who she married in the first place. Then, she uncovers the truth that may be way more than she could ever handle to live with. It left me speechless and in disbelief!
The story is told in first person, leaving you with all the emotions of the main character, Thursday as she goes through the most difficult times of her life. She wonders at time to believe what she sees and hears as she cannot seem to understand the facts as they unfold. As you read, you are right there with her until the very end of the novel.
