Delightful project for any time of the year but I could certainly see the dressed-up cats decorating the house at Halloween time. There's a mermaid, daisy, lion, witch and lady bug just to name a few adorable choices.

DUMPLING CATS are pretty much what you would imagine -- little palm-size cats -- sure to delight a cat or kitten fan of any age. The biggest problem would be which one to do first. All you really need is a bag of stuffing and worsted #4 weight yarn of various cat type colors -- or of course, you can use your imagine and run with that.

Each cat is about three inches tall, palm-sized, and that is why Dover Publishing suggests making a collection of them. Easy to make. Great stash buster project.
