LOVING SAGE, by Dominique Eastwick, is the long-awaited Wiccan Haus featuring one of the Rowan siblings finding love. The island is an escape for the family members who have been threatened for years, but as part of their doing good for others they bring in people that need help. Lately, however, some who mean harm are finding their way onto the island, which frustrates their security team.
For those not familiar with the inhabitants of this amazing world, here is a quick intro. The Rowan family consists of Sarka, the alchemist, Cyrus a retrocog (he can touch something and know the history of its owner); Cemil is an empath and Sage, a herbalist, who can use her herbs to help those in need. Some of the characters that are also major characters include Rekkus, a black and silver tiger shifter, in charge of security, his mate Dana and their three adorable toddler triplets and Myron, the card reading receptionist, just name a few. Wiccan Haus series is a fantastic series written by Ms. Eastwick and a group of other popular authors that follows the inhabitants of the island, Wiccan Haus, the Rowan family, and the guests seamlessly. The stories and I include LOVING SAGE in this statement, are filled with danger, intrigue, twists, and turns that are unexpected, and romance that is off the charts or wildly sweet.
LOVING SAGE is packed with romance, action, and intrigue. There is still danger to the Rowan family as cousins of the siblings are being attacked, including Janessa and her husband Silvano, who are rushed to the island. Cemil is starting to act out losing his temper, which is so unlike him, and someone on the island brings danger that the family. A mid the danger and intrigue Sage's memory returns, and she isn't happy with herself. Read the book and you will understand. Needless to say, this couple does come together and work their way toward forever. There is a sweetness in the moments they share, and, of course, a good steamy mating is what every bear needs.
LOVING SAGE has a few lighter moments as Rekkus and Dana deal with their triplets and, most especially, Rhys, the little escape artist. Chad is the guardian of Kalina, their only daughter, and she calls him her "Teddy," and the time they spend together and later with Sage is adorable.
