THE PRICE OF GRACE is Diane Munoz Stewart at her best. This is action-packed, thought-provoking, sexy, with a lot of twists and turns, and at times just fun. If you have not read the Black Ops Confidential #1 ( I Am Justice) you might find things a little confusing, but keep reading, it all falls into place. I will admit that there were a couple of times that I had to go back and re-read a section, just to make sure I understood what exactly was going on.

The family is very unusual in that they have mostly adopted girls (though there are a couple of boys mentioned and one they called brother) and Grace was one who was rescued by the family and now runs a club called "Club When?". Gracie loves her family but there are times when she just wants to be Grace and just get away from all of them. Dusty tries very hard to be the hotshot agent that goes by the book. That book goes out the proverbial window when it comes to Grace and his investigation brings about a sense of the family and what they do. Dusty learns that sometimes it is hard to tell the bad guys from the good guys and vice-versa because some of the people he trusted he shouldn't have and he learned to trust those he was told not to. The storyline also deals with other agents, a politician or two and a couple of abused women, which is what the Parish family does their best to take care of. You will, of course, have to read THE PRICE OF GRACE to see what exactly happens in the whirlwind romance and action-packed setup.

THE PRICE OF GRACE will give you action, danger, intrigue, a romance that will have you fanning yourself and smiling. It also ends with what some would call a cliffhanger and others a lead into the next book. It deals with Tony, the one brother in the family, his "death" and and "M-erasure" he pulled on Dusty. The storyline dealing with Grace and Dusty is wrapped up nicely, so I guess you can say it is a lead-in to book three.
