AT DEATH’S DOOR is Sherrilyn Kenyon’s latest installment in the Deadmen’s Cross series. If you like paranormal elements, then this is a series that you can’t miss out on. Rife with mayhem and mischief, this is a series that stays true to Kenyon’s writing style but is different enough to impress even the most loyal of readers.

In this book, the hero and heroine have a dark journey before them. As is true to Kenyon’s style, there’s a bit of angst in her novels as well as amazing romance. The mythology of this series is off-the-charts amazing and I have to say that Kenyon’s imagination is truly unparalleled. You really can never predict what she is going to do next and it’s because of this that I feel like she keeps readers on their toes.

In a way, I kind of feel bad for the characters of this series because their torment never really ends. There’s so much action and the reoccurrence of bad guys never stops. However, it does make for a really thrilling ride.

I’m not sure what the future holds for this series but I have really enjoyed it thus far. I have a feeling that these characters will once again make an appearance at some point and I will definitely be waiting to see what Sherrilyn Kenyon has in store for us next!

Welcome to the latest Deadmen's Quest...

But nothing has ever gone her way, for the Malachai, the very beast she and her crew of Deadmen have sworn to keep locked away, has risen. And this time he's taken prisoners. Valynda must keep her wits about her or be denied her salvation and forced to watch as the entire world falls into the hands of absolute evil.
