Growing up homeless, they each have a dark past, and these difficult experiences have played a big part in the men they have become. Part of the desire to become firefighters came from their adopted father, Josh, who was the firefighter who rescued the three of them from an abandoned house that caught fire.

HOT TO THE TOUCH focuses on Jackson Donovan, the oldest of the three boys. Jackson answers a fire call at a tattoo business that belongs to Becks Benning. Becks knew the Donovan boys growing up, but she is very different from the homeless girl Jackson knew when they were young.
