Everybody in the school seems to have the flu, at least that
is what Bex and Charlie thought. Until both of them notice
something strange with almost everyone in town. It seems
that a video game Zombie town. This game was created by a
company named Veratrum, a company that has made several
games that Bex and Charlie have played.
After several incidents involving this company, Bex and
Charlie decided not to play this game. This didn't stop the
rest of the town from playing it. Even all the adults have
been playing it. The next day Bex and Charlie wake up to a
town full of zombies. The only ones besides Bex and Charlie
are Marcus and Willa. The reason, none of them are playing
this game.
They have named their little group Gamer Squad. As much as
they don't want to play this game, they know the only way
they can save the town is to install the game and play it.
Could it be too late for the gamer squad? Hopefully, this
little group will be able to do whatever they have to.
Kim Harrington writes a great book for children. However, I
read it and was really glad I did. It really shows how kids
and adults can get addicted to playing video games. I have
to admit I do play several games on my computer.
Harrington gets right into the story, about how the zombies
are taking over the town. Harrington does a great job of
describing the zombies and what they look like. You can
really picture them and see them walking all over this town.
I plan on giving this book to my great nephew. So if anyone
is looking to buy a game for a child, boy or girl, I think
they will really like the APP OF THE LIVING DEAD.
Monsters. Aliens. What’s next? Use your BRAINS and figure
it out!
In their third exciting adventure, Bex and Charlie battle
the living dead—ZOMBIES.
After all they’ve gone through, Bex and Charlie have no
intention of playing the new zombie game that Veratrum
Games Corp just released. But everyone else in town is
hooked, and when a flu sweeps the school, turning
teachers and students into the undead, it turns out that
only non-players are immune. Now, Charlie and Bex have to
find a way to save their friends and neighbors—and stop
the company from unleashing more of their deadly games.
