Thriller Psychological

Michele Campbell has a chilling novel that will leave you completely speechless at the end! SHE WAS THE QUIET ONE is not only engaging but it is also a thriller to read. Campbell has you caring about the characters and then she shocks you with unexpected events that keep you reading and thinking of nothing else. I could not put this book down and hated it when I had to. I loved reading this novel!

When two twin girls go to a New England boarding school after horrific incidents in their life, no one could see what was going to become of their future that will change them, their relationship, and fate forever! Rose and Bel Enright got along okay and didn't hate each other, but their relationship went through some changes after going to the boarding school that left them on different ends of fights over other disagreements. But were they enough of a disagreement that they would kill over it? Rose seeks help from her dorm mother Sarah Donovan when things get tough. Bel turns to Sarah's husband Heath as her advisor but things look like they go too far. Who is to blame for their destiny that comes to a shattering fall? How will it change the lives of those involved?

This is one of the best psychological thrillers that I have read yet, and one of my favorites! Michele Campbell does an awesome job of telling the side of many characters at different points of the story without losing the reader. The spellbinding pages keep you on your toes, as you don't see the events that are coming. Suspense of surprises keeps coming when you least expect it. SHE WAS THE QUIET ONE by Michele Campbell is most certainly an amazing suspense novel that you will want to read!

SUMMARY

From the author of It’s Always the Husband comes a riveting new suspense novel about privilege, power, and what happens when we let ambition take control.

For Rose Enright, enrolling in a prestigious New England boarding school is the opportunity of a lifetime. But for Rose’s vulnerable twin sister Bel, Odell Academy is a place of temptation and danger. When Bel falls in with a crowd of wild rich kids who pressure her into hazing Rose, the sisters’ relationship is shattered. Rose turns to her dorm mother, Sarah Donovan, for advice. But Bel turns to Sarah’s husband Heath, a charismatic and ambitious teacher. Is Heath trying to help Bel or take advantage of her? In a world of privilege, seduction, and manipulation, only one sister will live to tell the truth.

In a novel full of twists, turns, and dark secrets, Michele Campbell once again proves her skill at crafting intricately spun and completely compelling plots.
