Greer Jones has her dreams: A Perfect Wedding, Perfect
Wedding Dress, and the Perfect Soulmate she will live
happily ever with. She is owner of a matchmaker agency,
along with her two friends, Ella and Macy and her manager,
Miss Thing. A graduate of MIT, Greer is a WHIZ at the
computer and it is her algorithms that are responsible for
many happy and successful matches. So what if she broke her
engagement to Wesley, after dating him for ten years? He
was just not the RIGHT ONE for her. Working at Two Love
Lane, in romantic Charleston, South Carolina, Greer keeps
busy. She has filled twelve scrapbooks with her ideas for her
Perfect Wedding. It will happen. She just has to find her
Perfect Match.
Ford Smith, a handsome Brit, is enjoying his visit to
Charleston. He recently was jilted at the altar when he
discovered his bride-to-be was sleeping with his groomsman.
An aspiring artist, Ford is looking for a muse. He needs
something to unleash his talent and create a perfect
addition to his upcoming show in Manchester, England. He
stops when he sees Greer. She is gorgeous and knows he
wants to paint her. He follows her into an auction and sits
next to her. He tries to make conversation, but she is
intent on the object to be auctioned next. It is a wedding
gown with a name. It is called Royal Bliss. It is a
fabulous wedding dress. Designed with beads in the shape of
a heart on the bodice. It is supposed to have a lucky
spell for the wearer and Greer wants it. The bidding
begins and the bidder against her is Pierre Simons, her arch
enemy and owner of La Di Da, his exclusive women's shoppe.
He is also one of the few people who did not find a match
at Two Love Lane and has a grudge against Greer because of
that. After he wins the bid, he taunts Greer, telling her
"I got my revenge. You will never have that dress."
Ford listens to their conversation and wants to hit the
arrogant intruder. He asks Greer why she is so sad? "Are
you engaged?" "No." "Why is she so intent on buying that
particular wedding dress...there are others." He leaves
the auction without even saying goodbye. Greer thinks he
is a handsome hunk and should have kept talking to him but
she was so upset at having lost the gorgeous dress. Leaving
the auction, she sees her old boyfriend Wesley and he
introduces her to his fiance, Serena. Also with them is
Ford Smith. He knows Wesley. Now I can really get to know
him. And the fun begins!
Kieran Kramer writes a fun, romantic tale with lots of
Southern charm and characters that are warm, each with a
story of their own. Ford will steal your heart especially
after you discover he is not the starving artist everyone
thinks he is but Stanford Elliot Wentworth Smythe, 8th Baron
of Wickshire. He gets to paint a beautiful portrait of
Greer as he falls in love with her while helping her win
back Royal Bliss, her coveted wedding dress. This
delicious tale will steal your heart as passion and finding
true love brings a happily ever after that is the icing on
the cake. I loved it and I want more of Ms. Kramer's magic!
Never say never when it comes to love.
Greer Jones has made a real name for herself at the
elegant matchmaking agency Two Love Lane. For a lot of
reasons―including a past engagement she broke
off―practical tech expert Greer is more interested in the
business of love than the experience of it, but she can’t
help but covet a gorgeous wedding gown that’s the prize
in an upcoming cocktail-party contest. In a moment of
brazen inspiration, Greer asks a handsome Brit she’s only
just met to accompany her to the party. He agrees―and
Greer believes her date is a starving artist. Little does
she know the truth. . .
Ford Smith, as he calls himself, is actually Stanford
Elliott Wentworth Smythe, the Eighth Baron of Wickshire.
Fresh off a breakup with a money-grubbing siren who
deceived him all the way to the altar, Ford has no desire
to fall in love―especially with Greer who, like the
desired wedding gown, is beautiful but only skin-deep.
But soon Ford realizes that there’s more to Greer than
meets the eye. Her professionalism is matched only by her
passion for life and love. . .and, best of all, she has
no idea that he’s to the manor born. Could it be that
true love is priceless after all?
