Deadly Secret

Romance Suspense

The second book in the romantic suspense Sons of Broad series by Tara Thomas is titled DEADLY SECRET. This follow up novel is just as action-packed as the first, but with even more suspense, darker secrets, and strained family ties. I devoured this novel from cover to cover. DEADLY SECRET is a book that takes twists and turns to another level. Thomas keeps the action and suspense flowing from page one keeping you engaged trying to figure out who is the enemy. A well-written story that leads the reader to what is an unexpected outcome before it is revealed. No matter what you think you have figured out, the villain remains nicely hidden until the right time to be revealed. The romance between Bea and Knox is superb and helps to even out the terrifying suspense. There are serial killers on the loose, an evil plot, family reveals, and lots of steamy romance. What more could you ask for? Knox is sweet and caring. Bea is the kind of person who is unsure of people at first and does not trust easy. The characters are relatable and well developed. DEADLY SECRET is a book you can easily get lost in with more action and suspense. The ending is interesting and helps to close a few of the questions you want to be answered, but there are still lose strings that need to be tied. The only problem is will just one more book be enough? It will be interesting to see how everything plays out in the final book. I cannot wait to see! DEADLY SECRET is the perfect romantic suspense novel for a binge read.
